In our VPK (Voluntary Prekindergarten) program, we offer a STEM-based curriculum that lays a strong foundation for early learning and future academic success. Through hands-on activities and age-appropriate STEM experiences, we create an engaging environment where young minds explore, question, and develop the critical thinking skills necessary for a seamless transition to kindergarten.

Pre-K Curriculum

The growth and development of a child’s abilities in the preschool years are very important. First Friends Preschool has designed a curriculum just for this including learning centers and growth tools.

Pre-K Curriculum

Our comprehensive curriculum is thoughtfully crafted to support the all-encompassing development of each child. Through a rich tapestry of activities, we stimulate cognitive growth by promoting critical thinking, language acquisition, and early literacy skills. In the realm of social and emotional development, our program prioritizes interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and self-awareness, fostering a positive sense of self and cooperation with peers. Physical activities enhance fine and gross motor skills, ensuring a well-rounded physical development. Moreover, our curriculum embraces the arts, encouraging creative expression through various mediums, from art to music and movement. By providing a nurturing environment that caters to individual needs and interests, we strive to instill a lifelong passion for learning in each child.

Here are answers to some of the questions we hear most from our parents

At First Friends Preschool, we take pride in offering a unique and carefully crafted curriculum designed to cater to the diverse needs and developmental stages of young children. Our curriculum is exclusive to First Friends, developed by our experienced team of educators and child development experts. We believe in providing a well-rounded and engaging learning experience that fosters not only academic growth but also social, emotional, and physical development.

At First Friends Preschool, we strongly believe in fostering a sense of community and collaboration between parents, educators, and students. We actively encourage parent involvement in various school activities and events throughout the year. Parents are welcomed to participate in special occasions such as Thanksgiving celebrations, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day events, Christmas festivities, and many other holiday-themed activities.

At First Friends Preschool, the safety of our students, parents, and staff is our top priority. In the event of inclement weather or unexpected closures, we closely follow the guidance of the local school board. If the school board makes the decision to close public schools due to weather conditions or other emergencies, we will also implement a closure for the safety of everyone involved.

At First Friends Preschool, we strive to make the enrollment process as seamless and convenient as possible for parents. To enroll your child in our program, we’ve designed a straightforward process. Begin by filling out our online enrollment form, which provides us with essential information about your child and your contact details. Once we receive the form, our dedicated staff will promptly reach out to you to schedule a personalized tour of our school.

During the tour, you’ll have the opportunity to explore our facilities, observe our learning environments, and ask any questions you may have. We believe this firsthand experience is crucial for parents to feel confident and comfortable with their choice of preschool.

Following the tour, you will receive an enrollment packet containing all the necessary information, including details about our curriculum, policies, and important dates. This packet will guide you through the final steps of the enrollment process, ensuring that you have all the information you need to make an informed decision for your child.
